Abercrombie & Fitch Is as Good as Zara Right Now

What’s your Abercrombie association? Everyone born between 1980 and 1995 tends to have a strong one. Whether it was a label you lusted over, wore with uniform regularity, or didn’t quite get the fuss about, it was a cornerstone of many of our mall-trolling high school years. (And oh, the smell! ‘Fierce’ is divisive, but there are those of us who get misty eyed with nostalgia whenever an errant whiff floats by).

After some corporate reshuffling, Abercrombie has returned with a current collection that’s as shoppable as the new arrivals section at Zara. Haven’t been converted yet? Click through to see the pieces I’m into. They hit that right-now mix of classic basics with a dose of old-school cool tossed in.
