‘The Last Dance’: ESPN’s Michael Wilbon on Why Michael Jordan’s Take Is the Most Important

For ESPN commentator Michael Wilbon, “The Last Dance” allows Michael Jordan to finally share his side of the story. According to Wilbon, it’s also the most important piece of the puzzle.

“It’s a trip down memory lane and it’s also additive,” he told Variety. “It’s got additive value, because even if you thought you knew everything, you didn’t know his take. And the importance of this to me, the value of this to me is Michael’s take. I already got everybody else’s. I know what my colleagues think, I know what his coaches think, I know what his teammates think, I know what his opponents think. I want to hear from him on all the huge moments of his career and of his life.”
