It may just be Tuesday, but the New York runways are feeling like Flashback Friday in the best possible way, thanks to some “Wait, is that…?!” moments with storied catwalk queens. For those keeping score, we’ve seen Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Christy Brinkley, and Bethann Hardison in the front rows, plus runway turns by Lara Stone (Escada), Sasha Pivovarova (Sies Marjan), Emme (Chromat), and Carolyn Murphy (Ralph Lauren). Proenza Schouler may have dropped the model mic, though, with catwalk stomps by Amber Valetta, Amanda Murphy, Karen Elson, Tasha Tilberg, and Gemma Ward.

In the words of Wayne and Garth, we’re not worthy. (Note to Young Millennials: That’s code for “We stan!”)

For those more enamored of actual rock stars, here’s some good news: Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers was at Libertine, covered in the brand’s signature stickers. The catwalk had hit potential, too, thanks to sequin Lucky Cat jackets from designer Johnson Hartig.

LaQuan Smith made a print out of vintage female mugshots, a double-edged nod to glamorous bad girls and iconic female resisters. It was astute, cool, and buzz-worthy… just like his brilliant idea to use a fanny pack as a tube top. We predict this trend to go big at Coachella, Burning Man, Essence Fest, AFROPUNK, etc. (But bring a cute sports bra in case there’s slippage, ok?)

Here are model Karolina Kurkova and actress Camila Mendes basically twinning at the Zimmermann show. They’re very different women, but the outfit is gorgeous on both—a real testament to how well the Aussie label creates its clothes.

And finally, here’s your Tuesday dare: sweep out of a room, any room, like you’re Kiki Willems closing the Carolina Herrera show. (Bonus points if it’s a subway car or your boss’ office.)

Until tomorrow, fashion friends!
