Dawn Olmstead has been named sole president of Universal Cable Productions and Wilshire Studios. NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment chief Bonnie Hammer announced the move Tuesday in a memo to staff. Olmstead will take over as sole head of NBCU’s cable production divisions nine months after she and George Cheeks were named co-presidents of the two studios.
