TV Ratings: ‘Holey Moley’ Cards a Par, Helps ABC to Thursday Win

Holey Moley” continued to card a solid round of golf, or ratings, leading ABC to a Thursday night win alongside Univision.

The mini golf competition series hit the fairway with a 0.5 rating among adults 18-49 and just under 3 million viewers, on par with last episode ratings-wise, but down around 15% in terms of total audience. A new episode of “To Tell the Truth” also scored a 0.5 rating and 2.9 million viewers, which represents a 25% rating up tick from the previous edition. Ryan Reynolds and Adam Scott’s game show “Don’t” sandwiched the two with a 0.4 rating and 2.3 million viewers.

Both ABC and Univision averaged a 0.5 rating across the night, with the Spanish language network producing two shows which matched “Holey Moley,” namely “Te Doy La Vida” and “Como Tu No Hay Dos.” The former drew 1.8 million viewers, the latter 1.5 million. An episode of “Medicos” scored a 0.4 rating.

Over on Fox, coverage of the MLB game between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Mets averaged a 0.4 rating and just under 2 million total viewers. The game itself saw the Red Sox emerge victorious by a scoreline of 4-2.

The CW was the only other network on the night to air original content, with a new episode of “Killer Camp” not exactly killing it at a 0.1 rating and 520,000 viewers. A replay of “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” followed that with a 0.1 and 544,000 viewers.

CBS aired only replays, with “Young Sheldon” technically winning the night with a 0.6 rating and 4.4 million viewers. Reruns of “The Unicorn,” “Mom” and “NCIS: Los Angeles” all scored a 0.4 rating.

Over on NBC, a replay of “Ellen’s Game of Games” also scored a 0.4, followed by two “Law & Order: SVU” reruns which both scored a 0.3 rating.
