Lily Collins and Daveed Diggs to Announce SAG Awards Nominations

Lily Collins and Daveed Diggs will serve as the announcers for the 27th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations on Thursday, Feb. 4.

The nominations will be made at 8 a.m. PT live on the SAG Awards’ Instagram account — a first for the awards show — producers revealed on Thursday.

SAG-AFTRA President Gabrielle Carteris will kick off the nominations process with an introduction at 7:50 a.m. PT. SAG Awards committee members Jason George (“Station 19”) and Elizabeth McLaughlin (“Grand Hotel”) will announce the nominations for the outstanding action performances category following the rest of the nominees.

The SAG Awards take place on Sunday, April 4, on TNT at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. The show was previously set for March 14, but rescheduled after the Grammy Awards took that same spot.

Collins recently appeared in David Fincher’s film “Mank” and the TV series “Emily in Paris,” both released on Netflix.

Diggs stars in the TV adaptation of “Snowpiercer,” The Good Lord Bird” and is writing and executive producing the Starz adaptation of “Blindspotting,” the 2018 film in which he starred. He recently appeared on the voice cast of Pixar’s “Soul” and will lend his voice to Sebastian in Disney’s live-action remake of “The Little Mermaid.”

Like most award shows this year, the SAG Awards delayed its 2021 ceremony and extended the eligibility for nominees by two months. Works exhibited or broadcast between Jan. 1, 2020, and Feb. 28, 2021, are eligible this year.
