Intuitive Entertainment Names Christmas Rini Executive Vice President of Development (EXCLUSIVE)

Intuitive Entertainment, the television and film production company behind Lifetime’s “The Rap Game” and Bravo’s “The Millionaire Matchmaker,” has appointed Christmas Rini as executive vice president of development. She joins Intuitive from Endemol Shine North America as the former executive vice president of development and original unscripted series.

As EVP, Rini will report to Intuitive’s founders and executive producers, Mechelle Collins and Kevin Dill.

“Christmas brings a powerful creative vision and impeccable storytelling ability to the Intuitive team. She has developed a myriad of shows during her exceptional career and puts so much passion into all of her work. Intuitive was founded on creating long-running franchises, and Christmas understands how to discover exceptional talent that will carry our shows through time. As we expand our slate, we are looking forward to creating more compelling and unique formats together,” Collins said in a statement announcing her hiring. In her new role, Rini will lead the development team in creating and developing unscripted formats for streaming, broadcast and cable.

Rini has over 15 years of experience in the industry. At Endemol North America, she oversaw the development and sale of TV formats for multiple outlets, including Quibi’s “I Did It For Love,” HGTV’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” USA’s “The Biggest Loser,” Disney Plus’ upcoming build competition series “Foodtastic” and Paramount Network’s “Across The World To Save My Restaurant.” Prior to Endemol Shine, Rini served as executive vice president of development at A. Smith & Company, overseeing the creation, development and sale of non-scripted projects such as Spike’s “The Awkward Game Show,” TV One’s “The Game of Dating,” FYI’s “Teenage Newlyweds” and HGTV’s “Container Homes.”

“I am beyond excited to be a part of the Intuitive Entertainment family. Mechelle and Kevin aren’t just incredible producers, they are exceptional human beings, and it’s a true honor to work with them every day,” Rini said. “Over the past several months we’ve put together a robust and innovative slate that is quite possibly some of the best work of my career. To be a part of a company that puts creativity, passion, and a desire to tell great stories above all else is a true gift”, she added.

Also joining the team is Adriana Garcia as the senior director of development, who will report to Rini. Garcia was formerly the director of development at Authentic Entertainment, where she sold original concepts to Science Channel and HGTV.
