Who Could Replace Chris Harrison as ‘The Bachelor’ Host?

Now that Chris Harrison is out of “The Bachelor,” who will take over his role as host of the reality dating franchise?

ABC and Warner Bros. are in no rush to name a replacement after Harrison departed the franchise he had hosted for 19 years, numerous insiders previously told Variety. But the position is a prime gig in Hollywood.

The search for a permanent host is not top of mind for executives behind the franchise, and a new host likely wouldn’t be named until the upcoming season of “The Bachelor,” which heads into production this fall and premieres in Jan. 2022. With the luxury of time on their side, the network and studio has a buffer zone this summer, given that the current season of “The Bachelorette” is being hosted by alums Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe, and “Bachelor In Paradise” will be hosted by a slew of rotating celebrities, including David Spade and Lance Bass.

With no official shortlist at the network or studio, there are certainly a number of contenders — anyone from Bachelor Nation alums to celebrity fans could be potential options.

Here are some of our ideas for who could replace Chris Harrison on “The Bachelor.”
