Guru Randhawa Indian Pop Star Signs With CAA (EXCLUSIVE)

Indian-born singer, songwriter, composer and actor Guru Randhawa has signed with CAA for representation.

Randhawa began by releasing independent singles and grew to become a global icon and pop star recognized for his Punjabi and Bollywood hits. In 2012, he made his music debut with the single “Same Girl,” then signed with the leading Indian label T-Series and released “Patola,” which has more than 493 million views on YouTube. He has several music videos on YouTube with more than one billion views, including “Lahore” and “High Rated Gabru.” “Lahore” won track of the year and Randhawa won best male act at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards in 2018.

His first international collaboration was the 2019 track “Slowly Slowly” with Pitbull, which racked up 38 million views on YouTube in 24 hours, and now has some 265 million views. The track won him the best Punjabi vocalist at the PTC Punjabi Music Awards in 2019.

Randhawa’s latest single “You Talking To Me” was released a month ago and has amassed 30 million views. He has also composed for several Indian films and won the best music director award for his work on “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety” (2018) at the International Indian Film Academy Awards and at the Mirchi Music Awards.

He will make his acting debut with Bollywood comedy “Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay.”  He is currently working on English-language music in Los Angeles.

Randhawa is one of the most followed male solo artists in the world today with 34 million followers on Instagram, 7.6 million followers on TikTok, 6.8 million followers on Facebook and 1.1 million followers on X.

He continues to be represented by Exceed Entertainment, Mumbai, High G Talent, and Gang, Tyre, Ramer, Brown & Passman.
