ATX TV Festival Sets ‘Suits’ Reunion Panel for Season 13

The ATX TV Festival is beginning to roll out its programming for Season 13. The event, taking place May 30-June 2 in Austin, Texas, will include both “Suits” and “Halt and Catch Fire” reunions.

The creatives and cast of “Suits” will get back together, marking five years since the series finale. The legal drama has had a resurgence in popularity over the summer after it became available on Netflix and Peacock, spending 12 consecutive weeks at the top of the Nielsen Streaming Top 10 chart and has crossed 45 billion minutes viewed.

Creator Aaron Korsh and cast members Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Rafferty and Dulé Hill are confirmed, with more to be announced soon. The USA series also starred Gabriel Macht, Abigail Spencer, Rick Hoffman and Meghan Markle — the latter whom commented on the show’s “wild” recent popularity when speaking to Variety at our Power of Women event on Thursday. “It was great to work on, such a great cast and crew. We had a really fun time. I was on it for seven seasons, so quite a bit,” she said. “But it’s hard to find a show you can binge-watch that many episodes of these days, so that could have something to do with it. But good shows are everlasting.”

ATX TV Festival will also feature a retrospective panel celebrating the 10th anniversary of the series premiere of “Halt and Catch Fire,” which aired on AMC for four seasons from 2014 to 2017. Executive producers and co-creators Christopher Cantwell and Christopher C. Rogers, executive producers Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein and cast member Scoot McNairy are confirmed to attend with additional panelists being announced soon.

An additional panel, “Presidential Forum: On TV, the Industry, and What’s Next,” will feature TV’s top executives about the current state and the future of the industry. Confirmed panelists include Nicole Clemens (Paramount Television Studios), Lisa Katz (NBCUniversal Entertainment), Erin Underhill (Universal Television) and Katherine Pope (Sony Pictures TV).

More programming for the festival will be announced as the event gets closer. Confirmed panelists include “FBI: Most Wanted” showrunner David Hudgens, “Silo” showrunner Graham Yost and “Black Mirror” executive producer Jessca Rhoades.

Beginning Wednesday, Nov. 22, ATX TV Festival will be running Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals, including 20% off all Season 13 badges (code ATXTVBF), 50% off merch (code ATXTVBF) and more, which can all be found here.
