Watch Variety & ET’s Golden Globes Official Digital Pre-Show Now

Award season is in full swing, and next on the docket is the Golden Globe Awards which take place this Sunday, Jan. 7.

Variety and “Entertainment Tonight” have partnered to produce the official digital red carpet pre-show for the Globes, which will air live on CBS and Paramount+. The digital pre-show will air live starting at 3:30 p.m. PT on Variety‘s digital and social platforms, ETOnline.com, the Golden Globe Awards website and on the digital platforms of 20 other publications owned by Penske Media Corp., parent company of Variety, which also owns the Globes in a joint venture with Eldridge.

The event, which will be hosted by Jo Koy, will broadcast live on CBS at 8 p.m. ET. However, those without cable can stream the show live on Paramount+, though only subscribers who have the Showtime add-on will be able to watch live (You can sign up for a free trial here). The ceremony will be available to stream for regular Paramount+ subscribers beginning Monday, Jan. 8.

Another way to stream the 2024 Golden Globe Awards live, and for free, is through a live TV streamer such as DirecTV Stream, and Sling TV, which both offer free trials. CBS is also available on Hulu+ Live TV and Fubo TV.

Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” dominated nominations for this year with 10 nods, followed closely by Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer,”, which scored eight nominations. On the TV side, “Succession,” scored a leading nine nominations for its final season, while FX’s “The Bear” and Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” were the second-most nominated shows with five nods apiece.
