The Black Crowes to Perform at Steven Tyler’s Jam for Janie Grammy Viewing Party, Zooey Deschanel to Host

Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler is set to stage his fifth annual Jam for Janie Grammy Awards Viewing Party this Sunday at the Hollywood Palladium.

The gala, which launched in 2018, will be held in honor of Tyler’s Janie’s Fund, intended to help and aid young women who have experienced trauma and help better their situations. The Black Crowes are slated to perform at the event following a screening of the award show, while actress Zooey Deschanel is tapped to host.

In addition to the screening and performance, the night will include a live auction featuring photographs, instruments and jewelry. Among the items on the docket include earrings worn by Taylor Swift, Tyler’s 1970s vintage Ludwig Blue Vistalite five-piece drum set, and a refurbished 1965 Corvette roadster. Additional items include original art from Mr. Brainwash, Bernie Taupin and Ellen Von Unwerth, as well as the opportunity to have your portrait taken with Tyler by celebrity photographer Andy Gotts.

Upon launch in 2018, the Jam for Janie Grammy Awards Viewing Party raised more than $12.2 million. Inspired by Aerosmith’s 1989 single “Janie’s Got a Gun,” Tyler founded Janie’s Fund to bring awareness to the plight of children who experience abuse, as well as raise money to assist those girls in receiving help to deal with their trauma. Over the past few years, Aerosmith has performed at the viewing parties in addition to musician Gavin DeGraw.

The 2024 Grammy Awards are slated to take place on Feb. 4 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
