Apple TV+ Reveals Spring and Summer Slate Release Dates, Including New Seasons of ‘Loot,’ ‘Acapulco,’ ‘The Big Door Prize’

Apple TV+ has announced its spring and summer slate premiere dates, including when new seasons of series including “Loot,” “The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy,” “The Big Door Prize,” “Acapulco,” “Trying” will return.

Announcing the roll out during the first day of the Television Critics Assn.’s Winter 2024 press tour, Apple TV+ also shared its plans for new series such as “The New Look,” “The Dynasty: New England Patriots,” “Constellation,” “The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin,” “Manhunt,” “Palm Royale,” “Sugar,” “Franklin,” “Dark Matter,” “Presumed Innocent” and “Land of Women.”

Variety has a first look at photos from some of those new and returning series, and will update this piece throughout the day with trailers from some of the new series.

“These compelling series all reflect Apple’s dedication to crafting stories that not only entertain but reflect the richness of our shared human experience, foster a sense of understanding and spark cultural conversations around the world,” said Matt Cherniss, head of domestic programming, Apple TV+. “We can’t wait for everyone to experience what we have in store.”

Apple TV has not yet announced a firm return for series like “Severance” and “Shrinking.” But here’s a look at its upcoming slate:

“The New Look” (historical drama series from Todd A. Kessler, starring Ben Mendelsohn as Christian Dior and Juliette Binoche as Coco Chanel): Wednesday, February 14

“The Dynasty: New England Patriots” (10-part documentary event from Brian Grazer and Ron Howard’s Imagine Documentaries, showcasing the rise of the New England Patriots): Friday, February 16

“Snoopy Presents: Welcome Home, Franklin” (origin story for one of Peanuts’ most beloved characters, Franklin, follows how he approaches making new friends): Friday, February 16

“Constellation” (eight-part conspiracy-based psychological thriller starring Noomi Rapace and Jonathan Banks): Wednesday, February 21

“Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend” (four-part documentary event tracking the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner through his career): Wednesday, February 21

“The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin” (six-episode comedy-adventure series starring Noel Fielding as the legendary British highwayman): Friday, March 1

“The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy” Season 2 (seven-part second season follows Levy as he makes his way through Europe): Friday, March 8

“Manhunt” (seven-part true crime limited series starring Tobias Menzies, about the hunt for John Wilkes Booth in the aftermath of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination): Friday, March 15

“Palm Royale” (series set in Palm Beach, exec produced by and starring Kristen Wiig, along with Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Amber Chardae Robinson, Mindy Cohn, Julia Duffy, Kaia Gerber, Bruce Dern and Carol Burnett): Wednesday, March 20
