Celebrating the release of his first solo album, “Honeymind,” Tony Award winner Ben Platt just announced a concert residency at Broadway’s Palace Theatre.

“Like my foremothers Liza and Judy before me, it is far beyond my wildest imagination to announce that I’ll be playing a 3-week concert residency at The Palace on Broadway,” Platt wrote on his Instagram. “I feel perpetually blessed to be part of the theatre community, and to have the opportunity to perform as myself and from my own perspective in this newly reopened, storied Broadway house is one of the greatest honors of my life.”

The show will be directed by Michael Arden, who previously partnered with Platt on the acclaimed 2023 Tony Award-winning revival of “Parade,” and is scheduled to run from Tuesday, May 28, to Saturday, June 15, featuring a limited run of 18 performances.

“Ben Platt Live at the Palace” will include songs from his newly released albums along with selections from “Reverie,” “Sing to Me Instead” and a “few surprises” according to the press release. Fingers crossed the star will also reprise some of his hits from his Broadway debut “The Book of Mormon” and the stirring rendition of Billy Joel’s “Vienna” from “The Politician.”

The newly refurbished theater has hosted several iconic performances including shows from Harry Belafonte, Elvis Presley, Bette Midler, Diana Ross, Liza Minnelli and Judy Garland.

Tickets are currently available on VividSeats and Stubhub.

Platt released the first single off his upcoming album a few days ago “Andrew.” The ballad dropped along with a brand-new music video (directed by Sam Wrench) showcasing Platt’s insane vocal range. “Honeymind” will be released on May 31st, but you can pre-order the 13-track album now.
