The Entertainment Industry College Outreach Program has partnered with Amazon MGM Studios to create a more equitable and inclusive talent pipeline with HBCU students and other under-represented student groups.
The partnership makes it possible for EICOP to continue its initiative in bringing diverse perspectives to the table by hosting student leaders and recent college grads for paid internships across all aspects of its business beginning in the summer of 2025.
“We are committed to building a home for talent that nurtures creativity, inclusive storytelling, and innovation both on screen and off” said Amanda Baker-Lane, global head of DEIA for Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video. “Through our partnership with EICOP, we will continue to amplify the voices of the next generation of entertainment industry leaders.”
Stacy Milner, president and CEO of the Entertainment Industry College Outreach Program said, “We are excited to have Amazon MGM Studios join us in this important and much needed pipeline development initiative. Together, we will continue opening doors and creating access for HBCU Scholars and other underrepresented talent to bring their skills, experiences and perspective to the workforce of today’s global creative industry.”

The program allows members of the student cohort to engage with industry leaders, attend speaker series and events, gain exposure to professional development opportunities, build networking skills, visit studio lots and go behind-the-scenes of top entertainment organizations to expand their knowledge of all aspects of the entertainment industry.
EICOP’s mission is to eliminate systemic barriers by providing housing and paid internships to ensure participants have opportunities to gain valuable exposure to the entertainment industry. Each year’s cohort will spend the summer in EICOP’s Los Angeles, New York or Atlanta based program gaining invaluable hands-on experience working with one of its industry partner organizations which now includes Amazon MGM Studios, Disney, NBCUniversal, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros., CAA, WME, UTA and others.
The program has vetted an applicant pool of 400+ scholars for its summer 2025 program.
