Jon Stewart Slams Donald Trump for Releasing Fragrance Ad Featuring Jill Biden: ‘I Find it Hard to Believe I’m Saying This, but It’s Beneath You’

On Monday’s episode of “The Daily Show,” Jon Stewart slammed President-elect Donald Trump for releasing a fragrance ad featuring First Lady Jill Biden.

“Trump was apparently traveling with his predecessor’s wife, attending the opening of the Notre Dame Cathedral with Jill Biden,” Stewart said. “It was a rare moment of conciliation. One that would have given this country hope had it not been immediately undermined by the returning president releasing an actual cologne ad belittling and sexualizing said moment.”

On Saturday, Trump and Biden were seen together at the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, which was severely damaged in a 2019 fire. After an image of the pair spread across the web, Trump used the photo for an ad for his new fragrance line, which he posted on Truth Social on Sunday.

The ad reads “A Fragrance Your Enemies Can’t Resist,” which is printed in bold letters underneath the picture of Trump and Biden at the reopening ceremony.

“Here are my New Trump Perfumes & Colognes! I call them Fight, Fight, Fight, because they represent us WINNING,” wrote Trump in his Truth Social post sharing the ad. “Great Christmas gifts for the family.”

In the post, Trump shared a link to the official Trump Fragrances website, where the scents can be purchased for $199.

“You fucking won!” Stewart exclaimed over a booing studio audience. “You don’t have to push merch anymore. I find it hard to believe I’m saying this, but it’s beneath you.”
