The Weeknd to Perform at Spotify’s First-Ever Billions Club Live in Los Angeles (EXCLUSIVE)

The Weeknd is planning to celebrate having the most songs to hit one-billion streams on Spotify with a performance for the first-ever Billions Club Live in Los Angeles.

The concert, taking place on Dec. 17, will be held exclusively for The Weeknd‘s top fans on Spotify. The setlist will likely include selections from the 24 songs in the streamer’s Billions Club, counting hits like “Starboy,” “Save Your Tears,” “Blinding Lights” and “I Feel It Coming.”

“Spotify’s ability to connect artists with their fans is unmatched,” says Monica Damashek, head of artist and label partnerships. “When the idea first struck to bring the Billions Club to life, we knew we wanted to celebrate both the artist and the fans simultaneously. The Weeknd was the ideal choice – he’s the artist with the most songs in the Billions Club and has an unwavering global fanbase. Our teams collaborated closely to ensure the concert was a reflection of our partnership over the years. Being a top listener on Spotify opens the doors for unforgettable opportunities like this. This is truly going to be a one-of-a-kind event that commemorates one of the great artists of our time and his impeccable catalog of hits.”
