David Beckham, Netflix Content Boss Bela Bajaria to Headline MIP London

Soccer star turned TV producer David Beckham and Netflix content chief Bela Bajaria are set to headline U.K. confab MIP London.

Beckham, who starred in last year’s hit docuseries “Beckham,” is co-founder of content studio Studio 99. His next project is another Netflix docuseries about wife Victoria Beckham.

Beckham and Bajaria will speak onstage as part of an “in conversation” event on Feb. 25 at the inaugural market, which comes to the Savoy Hotel in London, U.K. for the first time after years in Cannes.

MIP London is set to run from Feb. 23 to 27, 2025.

“We promised the TV industry to deliver big moments and future-facing conversations at MIP London next February,” said Lucy Smith, director of MIP London. “Bela and David are hugely impactful figures culturally and globally each with great influence and unique perspectives on creating content and connecting with audiences and both with significant international platforms. It’s a privilege to welcome them both to the MIP stage in London.”
