‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ Gets Season 7 Syndication Renewal by NBC-Owned TV Stations

“The Kelly Clarkson Show” has been renewed for the 2025-2026 TV season (the show’s Season 7) by the NBC-owned TV stations group, NBCUniversal announced on Monday. The first-run strip currently runs in afternoon slots on WNBC New York (at 3 p.m.), KNBC Los Angeles (2 p.m.) and WMAQ Chicago (3 p.m.). The news was shared by Tracie Wilson, the executive VP, syndication studios and E! News at NBCUniversal.

“Kelly Clarkson is a national treasure. We couldn’t wait to announce another season of ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show,’ fresh off the top-rated ‘Christmas in Rockefeller Center’ in which Kelly hosted,” Wilson said in a statement. “There’s an appetite in talk for stories that entertain and inspire, and ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ is a shining star that delivers for our stations and connects with viewers across multiple generations in meaningful ways.”

“The Kelly Clarkson Show” first launched in 2019 and features celebrity interviews, cast panels, personal interest stories and live music “Kellyoke” performances by Clarkson. The series has won 22 Daytime Emmys, including outstanding daytime talk series and outstanding daytime talk series host; two People’s Choice Awards for best talk show of the year; and the Alliance for Women in Media’s Gracie Awards’ prize for talk show entertainment.

Most recently, exec producer Alex Duda won for top showrunner at the Gracie Awards, while the show was given the honor for unscripted daytime writing.

According to NBCU, “The Kelly Clarkson Show” averages 1.2 million viewers per day this season and improves on its lead-in with women 25-54 in several major markets. The show has been cleared on more than 200 stations. The New York-based production is EPed by Duda and Clarkson.
