‘Night Agent’ Season 2 Trailer: Peter Sutherland Looks for CIA Mole Who Wants to Blow Up Manhattan in Netflix Spy Series

Peter Sutherland is back, and he’s searching for a mole in the CIA who plans to blow up Manhattan.

Netflix debuted the Season 2 trailer of “The Night Agent” on Christmas morning, ahead of the streamer’s first-ever NFL games being livestreamed on the platform.

Gabriel Basso is back as FBI agent Peter Sutherland in Season 2 of the Netflix series, which will release on Jan. 23. After Peter saved the president in Season 1, he’s promoted by the secret organization Night Action to become a Night Agent. In the trailer, Peter is on the hunt for a mole in the CIA who is leaking top U.S. secrets after he’s betrayed on a mission. He goes rogue to find the leaker and worries that Night Action may be compromised. As his search continues, the mole is selling the top secret information to the highest bidder and gathering enough resources to build a big enough bomb to blow up Manhattan.
