Wasserman Music Hires Kevin Shivers, James Rubin and Cristina Baxter From WME

Wasserman Music has announced the hiring of veteran agents Kevin Shivers, James Rubin and Cristina Baxter, effective today. Shivers and Rubin will join Wasserman Music’s executive leadership Team, marking the group’s biggest expansion since the company’s 2021 launch.

Los Angeles-based Shivers joins as EVP & managing executive. At WME, he was a senior partner in the agency’s music division and co-director of its hip-hop/R&B team. He represented Tyler, The Creator, Kali Uchis, Snoop Dogg, Lil Baby, Kid Cudi, Summer Walker, Kevin Abstract, Solange, and Jimmy Butler.

New York-based Rubin also joins as EVP & managing executive and also previously was a senior partner in WME’s music division and co-director of its Hip-Hop/R&B team. There, he represented a number of major artists globally, including Travis Scott, Tyler, The Creator, Solange, Bryson Tiller, Wiz Khalifa, and others.

It was not immediately clear which artists will be joining the three executives at Wasserman.
