‘Yellowjackets’ Season 3: Ashley Sutton to Guest Star in Showtime Series

Ashley Sutton is set for a guest star role in “Yellowjackets” Season 3.

Sutton will appear alongside previously announced guest stars Joel McHale and Hilary Swank in the new season of the Paramount+ with Showtime series. They join returning cast members Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Lauren Ambrose, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Steven Krueger, Warren Kole, Kevin Alves, Sarah Desjardins, Simone Kessell, and Elijah Wood.

The official description of “Yellowjackets” says the show is the “saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over.”

Sutton most recently appeared in multiple episodes of “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” at Netflix. She is also known for roles in films like”Swelter” and “Inner Demons.”

“Yellowjackets” was created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. The show has been nominated for 10 Emmy Awards to date, including two nods for Lynskey for outstanding lead actress in a drama. Lyle and Nickerson serve as showrunners and executive producers on the show along with Jonathan Lisco. Drew Comins of Creative Engine serves as executive producer along with Jeff Byrd, Sarah L. Thompson, Ameni Rozsa and Brad Van Arragon. Lionsgate Television produces.

“Yellowjackets” Season 3 will premiere with two new episodes on Feb. 14, 2025 on streaming and on demand for Paramount+ subscribers with the Paramount+ with Showtime plan before its linear debut on Feb. 16.
