‘Survivor’ 48 Includes a Surgeon, a Stunt Performer and a Fire Lieutenant: Meet the Castaways

It’s that time of year again. Season 48 of “Survivor” is set to debut with a two-hour premiere episode on Wednesday, February 26, at 8 p.m., airing on CBS and streaming live on Paramount+.

Following the premiere, 90-minute episodes will air weekly beginning March 5. Jeff Probst once again returns as host, while a new group of 18 castaways fight for the $1 million prize and the title of sole survivor. While navigating the islands of Fiji, the group — first dividing into three tribes of six — “must form a new society and nimbly adapt to their surroundings while contending with unforeseen obstacles and navigating an increasingly complex social game.”

“Survivor” is produced by Probst, S.E.G. Holdco., LLC. Mark Burnett, Matt VanWagenen, Kahaia Pearson and Jesse Jensen and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
