Philippine Game Show ‘Save Your Cash’ Tops MipFormats Pitch 2025 – London TV Screenings/MIP London Briefs

MipFormats Picks a Winner

“Save Your Cash,” a physical challenge game show created by ABS-CBN Studios in the Philippines, won the MipFormats Pitch 2025 at Mip London, held in partnership with Fox Entertainment Global. The competition showcased top format pitches from around the world, with MipFormats Pitch receiving 65 submissions from 23 countries.

In the end, “Save Your Cash” triumphed over a field that included quiz show “Easy100” (Turkey), guessing game “The Getaway” (UK), factual entertainment “Minus Life” (South Korea) and singing competition “Musical Attraction” (Indonesia). Christian Gamboa, the creator of “Save Your Cash,” received a $5,000 prize.

The winning format was selected by a jury consisting of Nathalie Wogue, Senior VP of Global Formats at Fox, and European commissioners Davy Parmentier of Belgium’s VTM and Burkhardt Weiss of Germany’s Seven.One Entertainment Group. Jury Chair Wogue praised “Save Your Cash” for its unexpected and visually stunning presentation that captivated both judges and the audience.

All3Media Goes Live

London TV Screenings co-founder All3Media International has announced live expansions for two of its hit shows: “Midsomer Murders” and “Race Across the World.” For the first time, “Midsomer Murders” will be adapted for the stage with “Midsomer Murders: The Killings at Badger’s Drift.” The stage production, based on Caroline Graham’s book, will tour the U.K. from October 2025 to April 2026, produced by Nicholson Green Productions Ltd and Colin Ingram Ltd.

Additionally, a live experience inspired by “Race Across the World,” the BAFTA-winning adventure series, will debut in London this spring. The high-stakes, interactive event will challenge participants to navigate the city, outwit competitors, and uncover hidden secrets. Created by City Days and licensed by All3Media International, “Race Across the World: The Experience” promises an immersive challenge for fans. All3Media handles the format and licensing rights for “Race Across the World” globally.

All3Media will host a London TV Screenings presentation on Thursday featuring a look at the company’s hottest titles.

SuperAppointment

Superights, the international distribution division of Superprod Group, has appointed Julie Frau as its new sales coordinator. Based in Paris, Julie will report to Nathalie Pinguet, the Deputy Managing Director of Sales and Acquisitions. Julie’s responsibilities will include coordinating sales and managing the entire Superights catalog. She brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles at Wild Bunch and Gaumont in marketing and international distribution.

This appointment follows the recent merger between Superights and Kids First Distribution (Watch Next Media). Superights, a major player in the international distribution of children’s and family content, operates from Paris, Milan, New York and Los Angeles. They offer a diverse range of programs, totaling more than 1,000 half-hours of content. Recent additions to their catalog include popular titles such as “Miffy,” “Harrison and Me,” “Home Sweet Rome!” and Hello Kitty: Super Style!”
