Everlane Adds a $24 No-Underwire Bralette to Their Collection

Bralettes—remember those? The happy medium between a sports bra and those painful underwire bras that rip into your rib cage. They’re also a largely overlooked piece of lingerie, often relegated to the back of your underwear drawer. But Everlane, the beloved eco-friendly fashion label, is on a mission to change that.

Launching today, Everlane’s first-ever bralette collection (described as “the bra that goes under everything,”) retails for just $24. The super soft bralette is crafted with double-layered Supima cotton, has no painful underwires or padding, and comes with adjustable straps so you can customize to your desired fit. The Bralette also come in neutral hues, from classic black and white to pale blue and pink.

Everlane’s newest launch follows the brand’s foray into underwear last March with the launch of four different underwear styles: The Thong, The Bikini, The Hipster, and The High-Rise Hipster. In the “Love Your Underwear” campaign, Everlane explains the importance of their latest mission.

“Underwear should be made for you. But for decades, it’s been designed with someone else in mind,” the brand wrote. “Bras that push, pad, and squeeze. Fabrics that suffocate. Lace that chafes. The industry has made billions telling women that in order to feel sexy, they need to look like something they’re not. But times are changing—and so should our underwear.” The brand added that its new underwear is not only “healthy on your skin,” but was created in a factory dedicated to ethical manufacturing.
