Steven Wolfe Pereira Named Chief Client Officer for TelevisaUnivision’s U.S. Advertising Sales

Steven Wolfe Pereira, a veteran of the advertising and technology sectors, has been named chief client officer at TelevisaUnivision‘s U.S. ad sales unit, part of a bid to accelerate the company’s outreach to advertisers who may not invest heavily in Spanish-language media.

Wolfe Pereira will be tasked with helping advertisers create new partnerships that utilize theT TelevisaUnivsion portfolio. His role is newly created.

“Steven will be a champion for helping clients discover new ways to maximize business results by leveraging the growth potential of Hispanic consumers,.” said Speciale, in a statement. “The universe of advertisers who continue to neglect Spanish-language advertising is staggering, and while we’re so proud to have welcomed over 200 new brands to TelevisaUnivision over the last few years, our audience deserves more of advertisers’ support. We are relentless in our pursuit to capture our fair share of the marketplace in the years ahead, and having Steven carry the flag of this mission will be extremely valuable.”

Under Speciale’s aegis, TelevisaUnivsion has worked to attract dollars from advertisers who have not previously done big deals in Spanish-language media, particularly the pharmaceutical and financial-services industries.

The executive joins TelevisaUnivision from 3Pas Studios, a multi-platform entertainment company, where Wolfe Pereira served as chief business officer He is also the co-founder and chairman of Encantos PBC, a children’s entertainment company, where he served as CEO between 2019 and 2022.

Before starting Encantos, Wolfe Pereira served stints at Datalogix, Neustar, Quantcast, Publicis Groupe, and, in an earlier capacity, at Univision. He began his career in finance at The Blackstone Group, Salomon Smith Barney, and Violy, Byorum & Partners.
