The Creative Coalition has announced the 2024 #RightToBearArts Delegation to Capitol Hill and the White House, advocating for public funding of the arts across the nation. The delegation will be held in Washington, D.C., on April 26.

The 2024 delegation is led by Creative Coalition president Tim Daly and actors Yetide Badaki, Diedrich Bader, Lizzy Caplan, Susie Essman, Midori Francis, Dulé Hill, Brendan Hunt, Joseph Lee, Yvette Nicole Brown, Molly Ringwald and Tramell Tillman, among others.

The delegates will meet with members of Congress and the White House as part of a national envoy to call for increased federal funding for the National Endowment for the Arts.

“We believe that every individual has the right to access and participate in the arts. Through the #RightToBearArts initiative, we are working to ensure that this fundamental right is protected and upheld,” Creative Coalition CEO Robin Bronk said in a statement. “We are proud to continue the tradition of engaging prominent voices in our advocacy efforts. Their passion and commitment to the arts serve as powerful catalysts for change, and we are grateful for their ongoing support.”

Past delegates include Billy Eichner, Elizabeth Banks, Sharon Stone and Spike Lee, among several others.

The Creative Coalition will also host its annual #RightToBearArts Gala Benefit Dinner on the evening of April 26. The night will bring together those from Hollywood, Capitol Hill, Fortune 500 and the White House cabinet to celebrate the nation’s best in the arts, with AARP as the presenting sponsor of the evening.
