Olivia Munn Joins Jon Hamm in Apple Series ‘Your Friends and Neighbors’

Olivia Munn is set to star opposite Jon Hamm in the upcoming Apple TV+ series “Your Friends and Neighbors,” Variety has learned.

The drama series was originally ordered at Apple in December. It is based on an original idea by Jonathan Tropper.

Hamm will star in the series as Coop, described as “a recently divorced hedge fund manager who, after being fired, resorts to stealing from the wealthy residents in his tony upstate New York suburb in order to keep his family’s lifestyle afloat. These petty crimes begin to reinvigorate him until he breaks into the wrong house at the wrong time.”

Exact details on Munn’s character are being kept under wraps.

Munn’s previous TV roles include shows like “The Newsroom” “New Girl,” and “Six.” She first broke out as a host of the G4 series “Attack of the Show,” on which she starred from 2006-2010. In film, Munn has starred in features such as “Magic Mike,” “X-Men: Apocalypse,” “The Predator,” “Office Christmas Party,” and “Violet.” She also recently lent her voice to the Marvel-Hulu animated series “Hit-Monkey.”

She is repped by CAA and Atlas Artists.

Tropper serves as the writer, executive producer, and showrunner on “Your Friends and Neighbors” under his overall deal with Apple TV+. Hamm will also executive produce along with Connie Tavel.

The series marks the latest collaboration between Hamm and Apple TV+. He recently appeared in Season 3 of the streamer’s drama series “The Morning Show” and starred in their ad campaign, “Everyone But Jon Hamm.”
