Stephen A. Smith Moves His Podcast From Audacy to iHeartMedia’s iHeartPodcast Network

Stephen A. Smith, known for his no-filter commentary on sports, politics and culture, has a new podcast partner.

“The Stephen A. Smith Show” has joined iHeartMedia’s iHeartPodcast Network, after originally launching with radio and audio company Audacy’s Cadence13. The show is produced by Smith’s Mr. SAS with Smith serving as executive producer.

New episodes of “The Stephen A. Smith Show” will be available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday on the iHeartRadio app and other major podcast platforms including Apple Podcasts and Spotify, in addition to streaming on the show’s dedicated YouTube channel.

The show launched in September 2022 and previously was titled “Know Mercy With Stephen A. Smith”; he renamed it in May 2023. “The Stephen A. Smith Show” features the opinionated host weighing in on the world of sports and beyond, including entertainment, pop culture, society, business and politics. The program also features “straight-shooting interviews” with celebrities, game-changers and thought leaders.

He called iHeartPodcasts “the noted top distributor of podcasts” and said, “I’m honored to have their commitment and faith, and I can’t wait for their collaboration with ‘The Stephen A. Smith is a lead commentator and executive producer on ESPN’s “First Take,” a panelist on “NBA Countdown” on ABC and CEO of Mr. SAS. In January 2023, Smith released New York Times best-selling book “Straight Shooter: A Memoir of Second Chances and First Takes,” published by Simon and Schuster and Gallery 13. He’s repped by WME.
