The Palm Springs International Film Festival has set its Talking Pictures Program, which will include “Babygirl,” “Emilia Pérez,” “Maria,” “A Real Pain,” “Sing Sing” and “Wicked.”
The screenings will be followed by in-depth discussions with actors Nicole Kidman, Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Karla Sofía Gascón, Zoe Saldaña, Selena Gomez, Edgar Ramirez, Angelina Jolie, Jesse Eisenberg and Colman Domingo and directors Jon M. Chu, Halina Reijn and Jacques Audiard.
The “Emilia Pérez” and “Maria” screenings will be presented by Women In Motion, a Kering program that shines a spotlight on women in arts and culture.
The Palm Springs International Film Festival, which runs Jan. 2-13, includes the Palm Springs International Film Awards on Jan. 3, the Book to Screen series, the Gayla and three culinary events spotlighting the films “Shelf Life,” “Trifole” and “Rioja, the Land of a Thousand Wines.” More information is available on the festival’s website.
