Ban recalled the little she remembers of the accident: “I went in a taxi with Jett [Kain] and within 30 minutes they told us I had a brain bleed and needed to be airlifted to the trauma hospital. Last thing I remember was being intubated and waking up after an emergency craniotomy with Jett by my side.”

Dorothy Wang, Ban’s co-star in “Bling Empire: New York,” shared support on her Instagram post, commenting: “so happy you are okay and have your incredible tribe by your side. sending you all my love and wishing you healing.” Ban thanked the ski patrol first-responders and said she is recovering: “In a blink of an eye, life can change.”

Ban appeared in “Bling Empire: New York,” a spinoff of the main “Bling Empire” series that aired in 2023. The show follows a group of rich Asian-Americans from New York City and their lavish, luxurious costumes and parties. Ban is also the owner of Lynn Ban Jewelry; her designs have been worn by Rihanna, Beyoncé and Billy Porter, among other celebrities.
