‘Manjummel Boys,’ ‘Aavesham’ Talent Team for New Project From KVN Productions and Thespian Films (EXCLUSIVE)

India’s KVN Productions and Thespian Films have partnered for an untitled Malayalam-language feature, bringing together “Manjummel Boys” director Chidambaram and “Aavesham” writer Jithu Madhavan.

The Malayalam-language “Manjummel Boys” and “Aavesham” were among the biggest Indian hits of 2024. A title and genre for the new project have not been revealed yet.

The project assembles key technical talent including cinematographer Shyju Khaled, composer Sushin Shyam and editor Vivek Harshan.

The film joins KVN’s 2025 slate which includes Kannada-language “KD”; Geethu Mohandas’ “Toxic – A Fairytale for Grown Ups” alongside “K.G.F.” star Yash’s Monster Mind Creations; the 69th, and possibly last, film of popular Tamil-language cinema actor Vijay before he enters politics full time, currently known as “Thalapathy 69”; and a Hindi-language thriller from director Priyadarshan. The Malayalam feature marks KVN’s entry into the language as the production house continues expanding its pan-Indian footprint.
