How to Watch the 2025 BAFTA Film Awards Nominations Online

The nominees for the 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards are being unveiled on Wednesday.

Mia McKenna-Bruce, last year’s BAFTA Rising Star winner, and “The White Lotus” star Will Sharpe, a BAFTA TV award winner in 2020, are on hosting duties, making the announcement at 12 p.m. U.K. time (4 a.m. PT) from the British Academy’s headquarters in London.

The nominations announcement is also being livestreamed on BAFTA’s YouTube channel.

Following the longlist announcement after the first round of voting, Netflix’s Spanish-language musical hit “Emilia Pérez” appears to be the film to beat with 15 nods across the 25 categories, closely followed by Focus Features’ Vatican thriller “Conclave” with 14. Further down, a tight pack of films includes “The Substance,” “The Brutalist” and “A Complete Unknown” on 11 lists, “Wicked” and “Dune: Part Two” on 10 and “Anora” and “Gladiator 2” on nine. All, with the exception of “Gladiator 2,” made it onto the best film longlist.

There was some surprise omissions, however, with “Maria” and “The Room Next Door” being snubbed completely.
