‘High Potential’ Renewed for Season 2 at ABC

ABC has renewed “High Potential” for a second season.

The procedural originally debuted on ABC in September, with the tenth episode of its first season set to air on Jan. 21. The logline for this week’s episode states, “A nanny is found bludgeoned to death in the park. Elsewhere, Morgan interferes when Elliot admits to not being invited to his classmate’s party.”

“High Potential” is based on the French series “Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI).” Kaitlin Olson stars in the American version as Morgan, a single mother with a 160 IQ who works as a cleaning lady for the LAPD until she demonstrates that her intelligence gives her a unique knack for solving crimes.
