Through out his more than 35 years at the helm of Chanel, creative director Karl Lagerfeld put together some of the the most legendary fashion shows the industry has ever seen. He staged protests in support of women’s rights, brought the fashion set to Cuba, recreated ocean-front views complete with lifeguards and sandy beaches, and most recently staged a show in New York City at The Met’s Temple of Dendur.
