NBC’s freshman courtroom drama “Bluff City Law” grew to its highest rating in a month on Monday night.
Helped by a solid “Voice” lead-in, the Jimmy Smits starrer grew posted a 0.6 rating among adults 18-49 and gained around 300,000 total viewers from last week to end up with 3.8 million. NBC announced two weeks ago that “Bluff City Law” would not be getting a full season order which, while not an official cancelation, means the show’s run will likely end after its initital ten episodes. “The Voice” was even on last week at a 1.3 and topped the night in total viewership with 8 million.
Meanwhile on Fox, “9-1-1” tied with “The Voice” atop the TV ratings, but dipped around 14% from last week to a 1.3 rating. The show also shed around 500,000 total viewers. “Prodigal Son” came in at a 0.7 and around 3.4 million total viewers.
Over on CBS, “The Nieghborhood,” “All Rise” and “Bull” were all steady in comparison to last week at a 0.9, a 0.7 and a 0.7 respectively. “Bob Hearts Abishola” grew to a 0.8 from last week’s 0.73, and also gained 400,000 total viewers.
“Dancing With the Stars” ticked up to a 1.0 for ABC, whereas its follow up “The Good Doctor” dropped to a 0.6 rating and lost almost 2 million total viewers from episode 5.
Finally on The CW, “All American” and “Black Lightning” were both even on last week at a 0.2, with the former gaining in total viewership and the latter slipping slightly.
