Hollywood’s most acclaimed writers, including Damon Lindelof, Sarah Kucserka, Christina Hodson, Cord Jefferson, Susannah Grant, Janet Mock, Julio Torres, Robin Thede, Jennifer Kaytin Robinson and Rob McElhenney spoke with Variety on how they overcome their own writer’s block.
“I think the thing that is important is that you can always do something, so sure you can be creatively blocked on that, but you can always go and do something else,” said British screenwriter Christina Hodson.
“The truth is I don’t really believe it,” said Grant about her writer’s block. “I know times when it’s difficult to write when it’s hard for me to feel productive. Usually, that’s my own damn fault.”
