Victor Glemaud’s New Collection Introduces Curve Sizing

Pre-quarantine, photoshoots for fashion campaigns called upon a phalanx of hairstylists, makeup artists, manicurists, wardrobe stylists—you name it. But in the age of social isolation, all you need is fashion’s it-girls, a funky upbeat soundtrack, and Zoom. Allow Victor Glemaud’s latest to show you how to get it done.

Inspired by the dress he created for Ashley Graham to wear to the 2017 CFDA Awards, the designer has launched a collaboration with 11 Honoree that champions inclusivity and celebrates all women. For the first time ever, Glemaud is introducing his fall/winter 2020 collection with curve sizing that ranges from L to 3XL.

To showcase his new offerings he tapped models and friends Indira Scott and Precious Lee, black artist and founder of popular Tumblr blog Black Contemporary Art, Kimberly Drew, and singer Adeline for an enviable Zoom happy hour. In case you were wondering, the collection is 100 percent dance-proof, even if all you’ll be doing is swaying and two-stepping in the comfort of your home to a soundtrack of Adeline’s “Middle”.

The collection features Glemaud’s signature cut-out knits, including an iteration of Graham’s dress in a fire red shade, plus a camel trench coat, and a colorblock sweater. Pre-order your favorites from the collection here.
