Amy Schumer Signs With WME

Comedy star Amy Schumer has left United Talent Agency and signed with WME for representation in all areas.

Schumer defects UTA’s stacked comedy department with her sister and collaborator Kim Caramele and writer-producer Kevin Kane. Both have appeared on Schumer’s Comedy Central series “Inside Amy Schumer.”

The actress has consolidated her business at the agency, where she was previously repped for public appearances.

Schumer recently fronted the STX comedy “I Feel Pretty,” alongside Michelle Williams and Rory Scovel. She will next appear in Rebecca Miller’s “She Came to Me,” alongside Steve Carell and Nicole Kidman. Schumer will also star in and produce Universal’s “Who Invited Her?” with Reese Witherspoon producing through her label Pacific Standard.

Schumer’s feature debut in a starring role was in 2015’s “Trainwreck” with Bill Hader. The romantic comedy, written by Schumer, earned a massive $140 million worldwide.

On the TV side, she produced the Comedy Central special “Amy Schumer Presents Sam Morril: Positive Influence,” as well as last year’s “Amy Schumer: The Leather Special.” Schumer is also represented by attorney Isaac Dunham.
