Rag & Bone’s New Collection Puts Disney’s Beloved Mouse in Streetwear

Mickey Mouse is many people’s earliest memory of pop culture–and one of fashion’s favorite muses. The world’s most famous rodent and Disney global icon has remained a fixture in the fashion world for years, from getting the high-fashion treatment at Coach and Opening Ceremony to a Disney-inspired merch collection at BooHoo. Now, Rag & Bone is stepping into the wonderful world of Disney with an exclusive capsule collection of unisex pieces saluting the beloved character’s optimistic nature and nostalgic charm.

“Beginning with original sketches from the Mickey Mouse archives, the capsule reimagines his heritage with a New York sensibility,” the brand explained in a press release. Think less Disney tourist merch and more downtown, streetwear-inspired, as Mickey’s face appears on a range of t-shirts, cozy knits, denim, and sneakers.

For the Rag & Bone x Mickey Mouse collaboration, the official campaign takes the Mickey-inspired collection to the streets of New York and features a group of young models frolicking on the sidewalk and subway platform in the mouse’s trademark color palette.
