Greg Lipstone to Exit as President of Propagate Content

Greg Lipstone is set to exit as president of Propagate Content after three years at the company headed by Ben Silverman and Howard Owens.

Lipstone’s departure at the end of his initial three-year contract is said to be amicable. The longtime ICM agent who shifted to the executive ranks in 2015 aims to look for a new executive or entrepreneurial opportuny.

Lipstone joined Propagate in 2018 after three years as CEO of All3Media America. At Propagate, he helped the company build out its production and support systems to better take advantage of the content boom. Lipstone worked closely on such Propagate projects as NBC’s upcoming “American Song Contest” and TBS’ “The Go Big Show.”

Lipstone is expected to depart at the end of this month. He’ll remain an advisor to Propagate and work on some projects.

“I’ve accomplished exactly what I set out to do when I joined Propagate and now is the perfect time for me to explore global, entrepreneurial opportunities,” Lipstone said. “The demand for quality content has never been greater, and I wish Ben, Howard and the team continued success.”

Lipstone spent 10 years as a top unscripted TV executive at ICM before shifting to the executive side at All3Media. Before ICM, he had a 21-year run at WME.
